By accessing, creating an account on, or interacting with NextStepApi ("the Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("Client", "User", or "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions along with our Privacy Policy.

If you are accessing our services on behalf of an enterprise, company, NBFC, or institution, you warrant that you hold legitimate authority to bind such entity to these provisions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our platform immediately.

NextStepApi grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and integrate our verification endpoints into your proprietary products and workflows. Our services include:

• Identity and KYC verification endpoints (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving License)
• Corporate and tax intelligence endpoints (GST Search, MCA filing, Director details)
• Banking & financial validation endpoints (Bank Account Penny Drop, UPI verification)
• Vehicle & RC verification gateways (Vahan registry lookups)

You agree to query our APIs strictly for verified business objectives, compliance requirements, fraud mitigation, and user onboarding with applicable end-user consent.

Upon registration, you receive confidential authentication credentials including your unique x-api-key. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining absolute confidentiality of your authentication keys and console logins
• All API calls, transactions, and bandwidth consumed under your authorized credentials
• Notifying our operations team immediately if you suspect any key compromise or breach

To safeguard infrastructure stability and guarantee sub-500ms latency, throughput rate limits (Transactions Per Second / TPS) apply based on your active plan tier. Standard rate limits range between 10 to 50 TPS. High-volume enterprise customers may request customized rate allocation through our technical team.

API consumption operates on prepaid wallet credits or monthly invoicing agreements. Each successfully executed verification call deducts units corresponding to the active rate catalog.

• All rates quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) plus applicable GST
• In the event of confirmed upstream failure (HTTP 5xx from our gateway), credits are auto-refunded to your wallet
• Prepaid balance additions are non-refundable once loaded, except as mandated by law

Both parties agree to uphold strict standards under the Information Technology Act, 2000, Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, and applicable RBI/SEBI directives. You confirm you obtain necessary consent from data subjects before initiating identity checks.

All code libraries, documentation, response schemas, software algorithms, logos, and trademarks associated with NextStepApi remain the exclusive intellectual property of NextStepApi Technologies Pvt Ltd.

You may not:

• Resell raw database responses to unauthorized third parties without prior written consent
• Attempt penetration testing, reverse engineering, or Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks on our gateway
• Query verification APIs using forged, stolen, or fraudulently obtained citizen credentials

NextStepApi provides connectivity to authoritative upstream registries. While our infrastructure maintains a 99.9% uptime SLA, we shall not be held liable for temporary upstream registry downtime (e.g. government server maintenance) beyond our reasonable technical control.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rajasthan, India.
